The Rooms

Harbour City Motor Inn has 25 Studio and Family accommodation rooms and is ideally located for visitors to Wellington. The Motor Inn also has a 3-bedroom penthouse apartment suitable for wedding parties and larger groups. There are 23 studio units, sleeping 2 to 3 people. 7 of these studios have a refrigerator, toaster, complimentary tea and coffee facilities, crockery and cutlery. 16 studios have a kitchenette with refrigerator, 2 hot plates, microwave oven and toaster. The kitchenette includes crockery and cutlery and complimentary tea and coffee facilities. All rooms are serviced daily. All beds have superior quilts and bedding and are fitted with electric blankets. Rooms include electric heating to keep snug in winter. Four sets of studios have interconnecting doors and can sleep up to 6 people - ideal for families and small groups. Two studios have access facilities - Harbour City Motor Inn has wheelchair-friendly doors and a lift between floors.

How to find us

If you are travelling south into Wellington on the motorway, keep in the right hand lane as you pass through the Terrace Tunnel, cross over Willis Street and turn right into Victoria Street. As you travel up Victoria Street, move to the left hand lane, pass through one set of traffic lights, and turn left into Web Street. Harbour City Motor Inn is immediately on your left. If you are travelling from the Interislander Ferry Terminal, or from the Bluebridge Ferry Terminal, take the left exit from either terminal into Aotea / Waterloo / Jervois Quay, move to the right hand lane, and turn right into Taranaki Street (just past Frank Kitts Park). Go up Taranaki Street, through 4 sets of traffic lights and turn right at the fifth set into Web Street. Harbour City Motor Inn is two blocks along, and on your right.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 2 days prior to arrival date. All bookings not cancelled by this time will have first nights accommodation debited to credit card account or invoiced. Reception and front door are locked between 9.30pm and 7.30am. Expected arrivals between these times please advise at time of booking. When reception is informed, “The Late Entry Key Details” will then be given for your convenience.
