Harbour View Apartments is a small complex of two luxury self contained apartments in Nelson, New Zealand. The apartments offer breathtaking views, stylish decor and an outdoor spa. Sit and watch the ships and yachts as they navigate their way through the harbour entrance from this prime position. The apartments are beautifully furnished with attention to detail, ensuring the comfort of our guests. The furnishings are complimented with local art works, pottery and unique hand crafted furniture. Enjoy a relaxing spa looking out over the harbour from the beautiful position nestled under the large Liquid Amber tree. A great spot to watch the sun set behind the mountains. Fine dining is only a few minutes walk away along Nelson’s Waterfront.

The Rooms

HARBOUR VIEW - 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT This beautifully appointed and stylish apartment offers our guests large open plan living with two bedrooms. Enjoy the breathtaking views across the bay to the Western Ranges through the large picture windows. The living area opens onto a spacious deck, which is complimented by all glass balustrades to ensure the view is uninterrupted. The fully fitted and generous kitchen allows guests to self-cater. The apartment’s master bedroom (queen) has excellent views to the western ranges. The second bedroom can be made up as a twin or king to suit our guests. There is additional sleeping in the living room if required. The tiled bathroom has a separate shower and bath. HARBOUR VIEW - 1 BEDROOM APARTMENT Apartment 1 offers large living area, spacious deck and one bedroom. The living room has large bi-folding (fold right back) windows and doors, which open onto the deck. The all glass balustrade ensures uninterrupted views over the bay to the Western Ranges. The living room also has beautiful rimu floors with scattered Persian rugs. The unique recycled rimu furniture and handcrafted kitchen compliment the furnishings. Relax in the alcove, perfect for reading or an afternoon doze. The kitchen has full facilities allowing guests to self-cater. Enjoy a comfortable nights sleep in the recycled rimu bed, with independent moving slat and wake up to the sea views. The stylish tiled bathroom has underfloor heating to ensure comfort.

How to find us

Directions from the Airport: Follow the signs to City Centre via Tahunanui Beach (Highway 6). Pass Tahunanui Beach on your left and continue along Rocks Road (this becomes Wakefield Quay). Pass the Boat Shed Restaurant on you left, take the next right into Poynters Crescent (directly opposite the yacht club). Turn first left into Harbour Tce (swing wide to the other side of the road before you turn, as the turn is tight). Go up the road and see our large red letterbox on your right and turn here. A very steep drive brings you up to the apartments, recognisable by the burgundy and green sails on the decks. Guest parking is to the right of the building (apartment 2) and under the deck (apartment 1). Each apartment is sign posted as you go up the stairs. Directions from Queen Elizabeth Drive (from Picton or Blenheim): Follow Highway 6 to the round about at intersection of Queen Elizabeth Drive and Trafalgar St (this is the first intersection you come to). Cross the roundabout, and at the next roundabout turn right into Haven Rd (this becomes Wakefield Quay). Pass the BP garage on your left and continue, after 500 metres the road bends left and the sea is on you right. Take the next left into Poynters Crescent (directly opposite the yacht club). Turn first left into Harbour Tce (swing wide to the other side of the road before you turn, as the turn is tight). Go up the road and see our large red letterbox on your right and turn here.
