But it is not the facilities that makes Wally’s stand apart from the rest, it is the relaxing feeling, the sense of well being that is created by the native bush like setting that makes you forget you are in the middle of the city.

Lets face it, a good nights sleep is one of the most important aspects of backpacking. Keeping this in mind the bedrooms at Wally’s have been designed to give each guest as much space as possible. Instead of jamming as many bunks as possible into our rooms, the emphasis was on creating a relaxing and comfortable environment. All the beds at Wally’s are wooden slat beds with high-density foam mattresses that provide a great nights sleep. A fresh white sheet, pillow and pillow case are included in the bed tariff. Doubles Wallys offers 5 double rooms for those couple who value a little privacy or want a break from sleeping in dorms. All our double beds are new slat beds with quality inner sprung mattresses. You will enjoy new sheets and duvets which are included in the cost of the room. We also have one double with its own ensuite. The Cottage The cottage is the old doctors surgery which we have turned into a room that sleeps 8 people. Set away from the other two buildings, the cottage is perfect for large groups or families and enjoys the benefit of it’s own bathroom.
